Abstract
This research examines the challenges and opportunities faced by cooperative banks in Rajasthan in the context of digital financial inclusion. Cooperative banks play a crucial role in providing financial services to rural and semi-urban populations, yet their transition to digital platforms is influenced by various socio-economic and infrastructural factors. Using secondary data from RBI reports, government publications, academic journals, and industry analyses, this study identifies key challenges, including low digital literacy, limited internet infrastructure, cybersecurity concerns, and resistance to change. At the same time, it highlights significant opportunities through government initiatives such as PMJDY and Digital India, partnerships with fintech companies, operational efficiency, and the potential for expanding financial access. The findings provide insights for policymakers, banking institutions, and stakeholders to develop strategies that enhance digital adoption, improve financial inclusion, and ensure sustainable growth of cooperative banks in Rajasthan.
