Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the global film industry, influencing every stage of production from script development to post-production. Among the areas experiencing significant change is cinematography, traditionally regarded as one of the most human-centered aspects of filmmaking. AI-powered tools are now capable of generating images, planning shots, simulating lighting conditions, automating camera movements, enhancing visual effects, and even creating entire cinematic sequences without physical cameras. This technological shift has initiated a new era of AI Cinematography, where human creativity increasingly collaborates with machine intelligence. This research paper examines the emergence of AI Cinematography, its applications, benefits, challenges, and implications for the future of visual storytelling. Through an analysis of contemporary technologies, industry practices, and theoretical perspectives, the study explores how AI is reshaping the role of cinematographers while simultaneously expanding creative possibilities in cinema.
