Abstract

The rapid expansion of cloud computing has fundamentally transformed modern business operations by enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient access to computational resources. However, this growth has also introduced a parallel rise in security risks, positioning cloud environments as primary targets for increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks. Traditional security mechanisms often struggle to keep pace with the evolving complexity and scale of these threats.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative solution, offering advanced capabilities that significantly enhance the security posture of cloud ecosystems. This paper examines the role of AI in redefining cloud security, with a focus on real-time threat detection, automated incident response, and predictive vulnerability assessment. By exploring AI-driven innovations, this study highlights how organizations can leverage intelligent security frameworks to strengthen protection, reduce operational costs, and improve overall resilience in cloud environments.
